We arrived in Paris on a beautiful blue sky day one day prior to meeting with our tour group.  We were able to check in to Hotel Muguet early to freshen up and then we were off and walking. 

 

First stop, Eiffel Tower.  It is huge!  My romantic husband surprised me with pearls at the Eiffel Tower for our anniversary...how did he keep that a secret?  Off and walking we visited the Champs Elysee and returned to Rue Cler for dinner.

 

Day 1  We met with our tour group late afternoon after exploring Paris some more.  Before heading to dinner we found our tour buddies (a buddy system that is quite efficient) then off for a cruise on the Seine with our new travel companions.

 

Day 2 Our first full tour day!  First stop the breathtaking Sainte Chapelle.  On to Sainte Sulpice, Luxembourg Garden and Notre Dame.  Later we visited the Orsay Museum and treated ourselves to a taxi back to the hotel!

 

Day 3 We visited Le Louvre.  A local guide escorted us to the highpoints...oh the art we saw!  The Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory to name a few!  Then off on our fabulous bus with Ben our driver to Beaune!  We had an amazing dinner and wine tasting in an Abbe.  What a great way to continue to get to know our tour companions.

 

Day 4 We woke up early to explore Beaune...tres adorable!  Toured the Hotel Diu then off to Lauterbrunnen Valley!
